When she arrived home after dropping off the package at a post office, she suddenly realized that a pair of dirty underwear and a bra were missing.
“Something just happened that is remarkable, even for me,” the mother said on her Instagram account.
“I got a delivery from ASOS and some bikinis weren’t very good, so I put them back in the bag.
“I posted it, came back and realized I had put my underwear in the return bag along with one of my favorite bras.”
The panicked actress spoke to a “virtual assistant” via a chat bot, asking if he could return her bra.
“Would you please return the underwear to me. I don’t care about the panties (feel free to throw away) but the bra is a favorite,” she wrote.
Having received no help, she informed her followers on social networks.
“I still have a pair of dirty panties that are on their way to ASOS HQ and my favorite bra,” she said.
When she “finally managed to communicate with a human” at ASOS, she spoke to a customer service representative named Mikaela.
“I accidentally included my own underwear with the items I returned to you. I’m so sorry,” she wrote in the post.
“Please tell me people do this often. Also, I hope you laugh.
Mikaela replied, “Oh no. I’m sorry to hear that Carla.
“You’ve made my morning so far, I won’t lie but don’t worry you’d be surprised how many people accidentally return items to us that weren’t purchased from us.”
Carla said she was told there was nothing they could do until they received her package.
A few days later, she received an email confirming that her refund had been issued.
“I just received an email from ASOS saying ‘You have been refunded for the items you returned’ with no mention of my pants and bra,” she said.
“So what do I do now?” Do you think they just threw away my pants and my bra? »
She later added, “I just made it look like I had really dirty pants, I didn’t.
“Just the thought of some poor stranger having to handle someone’s worn-out pants is just not nice.”
According to the retailer, customers cannot return swimwear if the hygiene seal is not intact or if any tags have been broken.
Her video has been viewed over 70,000 times and many have thanked her for “brightening up” their day.
“Oh my. I’m crying with laughter.. Thank you you make me feel less angry,” one wrote.
Another said: “Thank you. You made me feel better about all the things I’m wrong about rushing.
While one of them added: “Oh my God. I just spit out my coffee laughing. Absolutely hilarious.
