Rajat Patidar was in sublime touch during Bangalore Royal Challengers‘s (RCB) Eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Wednesday, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The talented right-handed hitter went unbeaten on 112 of 54 balls to help the RCB rack up 207/4 after KL Rahul won the toss and asked them to strike. He was ably supported by Dinesh Karthikwho went undefeated on 37 out of 23 balls.
During the 16th, Patidar hit Ravi Bishnoi three great sixes. One of them, which was the last, was launched on the niche area. Patidar picked that one well and bred him for a long time to max. The ball, after crossing the boundary line, went straight into LSG’s fridge and in the process broke the glasses.
In all, Patidar hit 12 fours and seven sixes in his wonder shot, while Karthik hit five fours and a six. Virat Kohli seemed in good contact initially but left after scoring 25 from 24.
