Georgia Bulldogs defensive tackle Jordan Davis looks like a first-round lock in the 2022 NFL Draft. Davis finished his Georgia career with seven sacks and 91 total tackles. Its impact goes beyond numbers. Davis was key to many elite defenses during his career with the Bulldogs.
The 6-foot-6, 340-pound defensive tackle posted an official time of 4.78 in the 40-yard dash. Only teammate Devonte Wyatt (4.77) ran a faster 40-yard dash among defensive tackles.
Jordan Davis has shown impressive speed throughout his Georgia career. Davis is excellent in pursuit and is an excellent defender on the run. Men that size simply shouldn’t be able to run that fast.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Jordan Davis’ historic 40-yard run time:

It is beyond belief. Like watching an 18-wheeler win a drag race. It shouldn’t be possible. https://t.co/UHMB0CMMx5
