Kanye West’s Latest Instagram Photo From Skinned Monkey Is Giving Internet Goosebumps

Kanye West, who recently changed his name to Ye, raised eyebrows with his unusual choice of image for his latest Instagram post, which came amid accusations he assaulted a fan outside of a club in Los Angeles. Since deleting all of his previous photographs, the artist has only shared a handful of photos on his page, and his most recent post, which features a very graphic image of a flayed monkey, gives flesh goosebumps to some of his followers.

Kanye captioned the photo “MY LIFE HAS NEVER BEEN EASY” and tagged fellow musician The Game aka Jayceon Terrell Taylor in the post, leading fans to wonder if a collaboration is on the way.

Here’s the photo Kanye West shared on Friday:

The message left most followers of the Donda singer surprised. One user wrote, “A f*** jumpscare,” while another wrote, “I was unprepared for this to be the first thing I saw when I opened this app. A few angry followers expressed their reactions to the image saying, “I’m calling PETA” and “I needed a trigger warning on this shit.”

According to Lad Bible, Ye and The Game may be releasing the collab soon, dubbed “My Life Has Never Been Easy.” The 44-year-old apparently collaborated for the track with Pusha T and DJ Premier and discussed the details over the phone earlier this week. The development came days after the Los Angeles Police Department announced that Kanye was being investigated as a suspect in connection with a battery incident. Daily Mail reported that the claimed encounter happened at 3 a.m. on January 13 outside the Soho West members-only club in downtown Los Angeles.

Additionally, it’s been a busy past few weeks for Kanye, who was announced to headline Coachella 2022 along with Billie Eilish and Harry Styles. He will bring his Sunday service to Russia later this year for a concert and a meeting with Vladimir Putin. Additionally, Netflix’s three-part documentary titled Jeen-Yus, which was filmed throughout Kanye’s career spanning nearly two decades, will premiere on February 10.
